PowerPoint Presentation

The PPT format is a proprietary binary file format developed by Microsoft. It is mostly associated with Microsoft office PowerPoint, a closed source slide show presentation application. In Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 onwards, the .ppt filename extension format was superseded by the .pptx format which is part of the Office Open XML specification. Documents to be saved in the .ppt format are saved as PowerPoint 97, 2003 presentations.

A file with the .otp extension is used to save presentation templates created by the programs that include Impress, OpenOffice.org and standard OpenDocument program by OASIS. These programs are free alternatives for those who do not want to incur expenses related to the installation of Microsoft Office. The OpenOffice.org program comprises of word processors, presentations, spreadsheets and other programs but the .otp extension is related to the presentation files created using the OpenOffice program.

How to convert PPT to OTP

STEP 1

Select the presentation file in the PPT format to convert to the OTP format, you can select a file from your computer or your Google Drive or Dropbox account.                            

STEP 2

Choose the OTP format from the drop-down list as the output format, and click the Convert button, you can convert up to 5 files at the same time and a maximum size of up to 500 MB.

STEP 3

Wait until your file is uploaded and converted into the OTP presentation format, you can download the converted file up to a maximum of 5 times, and can also delete the file from the Download page.
