Images, text and vector graphic shapes which are paths that comprise of curves and straight lines are the three kinds of graphic objects allowed by .svg extension format. Excellent dynamic and interactive images can be created using the Scalable Vector Graphics technology which has been developed by W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) SVG group in 1998 and launched in 1999. It has been used by many web designers since then for attractive graphical representation. As per W3C recommendation, SMIL is the right choice for SVG when it comes to animation.
