ODG is a file extension for the OpenDocument (ODF) file format which is an XML-based file format. The OpenDocument file format is used in the creation of charts, spreadsheets, presentations and in word processing applications. XML is simply known as Extensible Markup Language which means, marking up data and encoding it into a file which is readable by both humans and machines. The ODG file extension is used in graphics and stores vector graphics in standardized XML. It was first developed by the OASIS (Organization For The Advancement Of Structured Information Standards) and is meant to be used in other OpenOffice documents for storing texts, charts, spreadsheets and various graphical elements. When it was first created, the extension was used as a specification in the Apache OpenOffice suite, being one of the first office suites to offer and support the use of ODG files.
The .emf extension file is an Enhanced MetaFile format that is a spool format used as a backup for printing in Windows. It is the 32-bit version of the 16-bit WMF (Windows Metafile Format) files. It is a vector graphics file that saves images in RGB format that is compatible with most of the imaging applications.
FreeFileConvert uses tuned encoding for ODG to EMF conversions, preserving clarity while trimming file size. Finished audio streams instantly across phones, tablets, desktops, and modern browsers without extra tweaks.
Upload ODG files from desktop, tablet, or cloud storage, queue multiple jobs, and let the converter finish autonomously. Return whenever convenient to download synchronized EMF results on any device you rely on.
Process up to 5 files sized 1000 MB per batch without splitting queues manually. Mixed-format uploads convert together, producing consistent EMF audio with dependable progress tracking.
Users can draw elements, create vector graphics and make drawings, graphic elements, and export them as an ODG file type. ODG files can be shared across different file sharing platforms like Google Drive or Dropbox. The drawings created are XML-formatted and can be used in other OpenOffice application programs. ODG files are also used in the creation of digital illustration and vector graphics; the files are made using an application called "Draw" which is part of the Apache OpenOffice Suite.
The .emf extension file format is not dependent on the device and the graphics quality is maintained irrespective of the printer's dpi (dots per inch) resolution. When a print command is given, and the printer is already in the process of printing a file, the new file will be read by the computer and stored either on the hard disk or in the memory so that it can be printed later.
Upload your presentation file in the ODG format from your device, Dropbox, or Google Drive.
Select EMF as the output format and click Convert. Adjust optional settings if needed.
Download the converted vector file. Each file stays available for up to 5 downloads.
