Originally being developed by a Third Generation Partnership Project II, it's used in the third generation mobile phones, 3g2 is basically used as an audio as well as video file format. It is a relatively similar file format to 3gp with some advancements as well as limitations. Specifically, the 3g2 format is for CDMA based mobile phones rather than GSM-based phones, this format is used in fourth generation phones as well. Basically, it is for video viewing, it is also used for transferring photos and videos through the internet. Based on the standards of MPEG-4, it is developed in the light to play the media and to deliver it through the internet connection over high speed.
The .flv filename extension and the FLV file format are associated with Adobe System's flash player. It is a container format primarily used for content delivery over the internet and other computer networks. It is an open file format and supports delivery of audio and video streams through players that are compatible with the specification. Flash video, or FLV, has been popularized on the internet by video streaming websites that encode their video in this format. Most web browsers have support for the format through web browser plugins with the exception of Google chrome which has native support for the format.
FreeFileConvert uses tuned encoding for 3G2 to FLV conversions, preserving clarity while trimming file size. Finished audio streams instantly across phones, tablets, desktops, and modern browsers without extra tweaks.
Upload 3G2 files from desktop, tablet, or cloud storage, queue multiple jobs, and let the converter finish autonomously. Return whenever convenient to download synchronized FLV results on any device you rely on.
Process up to 5 files sized 1000 MB per batch without splitting queues manually. Mixed-format uploads convert together, producing consistent FLV audio with dependable progress tracking.
3g2 format has a contrasting similarity with MP-4 and is a more simplified version of the complex MPEG-4. It is actually designed to accommodate in the cellular phones, its bandwidth requirements are reduced in order to reduce the storage required. It stores and streams the videos and audios as done by the 3gP format. However, the audio streams that are stored by the 3g2, are in the extensions such as EVRC-B, SMV, EVRC-WB, VMR-WB, EVRC, 13k or QCELP.
The FLV format is similar to the SWF file format (also owned by Adobe Systems) in the technique used to encode audio and video streams but differs slightly with multi byte storage in big endian byte order. FLV supports a number of codecs including but not limited to On2 VP6 and Sorensen Spark. FLV files can only have a single and synchronized audio and video stream. The format has a header tag followed by alternating blocks of back pointers and tags.
Upload your video file in the 3G2 format from your device, Dropbox, or Google Drive.
Select FLV as the output format and click Convert. Adjust optional settings if needed.
